The Bay Area has breathtaking spots to grace your maternity sessions, but the greenery and great weather in Walnut Creek makes it an incredible location, while avoiding the heavy traffic you’ll encounter if you decide to go to the city. Of course, your belly is the focus along with your family, but the right scenery sets the tone for your session and lets your personality and style shine. These are some of my favorite places to go for maternity sessions in Walnut Creek:

●     Heather Farm Park. This is such a fantastic location because of its variety of settings. Heather Farm Park has a big fountain, sweet little trails and tons of greenery, which means we can capture a range of backgrounds without you having to go more than a handful of steps in any direction.

●     Diablo Foothills National Park. You don’t have to go very far to harness the essence of the geography (rolling hills, oaks, shrublands, etc.) of our beautiful Bay Area and it’s natural abundance. This location might require a bit of a hike, but it’s completely worth it!

●     Ruth Bancroft Garden (& Nursery). There’s a reason why Ruth Bancroft Garden and Nursery also serves as a wedding and event venue - it’s gorgeous. You’ll look like a goddess too, set amidst the myriad of flowers, trees and plants. It’s important to note that this location requires a permit with at least two weeks ahead of time, so make sure to plan accordingly.

●     Of course, I’m also open to your recommendations and preferences. I want your session to reflect your style and be deeply meaningful to you.
